5 Essential Things to Consider When Booking Your Wedding Transportation

We are here to make things easier for you, but remember, we're not mind readers. Here are a few things to think about when booking a car for your wedding.

1. How many passengers are you going to have? Yes, you want to get the wedding party from point A to point B and maybe point C, but will you have additional guests as well? Most of the time guests who are not part of the wedding party will find their own way to the wedding, but sometimes it's nice to offer a shuttle service, especially if guests are staying at a hotel. Remember you do not want your guests driving home after a few drinks at your reception. It will ease your mind at the end of the night and get people back to their place safely!

2. Pictures. When booking transportation for your wedding, it is good to know where your pictures will be taken. We will take you wherever you desire for your pictures, but it is easier if the driver knows the destination ahead of time so he/she knows where they are going and can get you there in a timely fashion. Most people think weddings and white limousine. We however, have black vehicles that provide a dramatic backdrop for the bride's white wedding dress.

3. Nothing runs smoothly all the time. Set a schedule to use as your guideline and help reduce the headache. When booking your wedding transportation be clear about the times you want the bride, bridesmaids, groom and groomsmen to be picked up. It’s ok if everything doesn’t run on schedule, having a guideline will help you and your driver remain as stress free as possible.

4. An important thing to think about is the order of events for your day. Where is everyone going to be picked up and who is going to be picked up first, second, etc? Is the bride going to be picked up with her bridesmaids or does she want a separate car with her father? Do you want a separate car for all of the parents? Knowing the timeline will help keep everything on schedule and help your wedding run as smoothly as possible.

5. Book your own trip. Yes, weddings are stressful enough, but when you want something done right you do it yourself. It’ll be easier on you to book the transportation and provide all the details. So when your wedding day arrives, you’ll have appointed someone to handle it all for you. Trust me, you will feel more at ease letting someone else take over, knowing that it was booked in advance and everything properly scheduled.
