Things To Do In New York City

After the holidays, the window shopping and the Christmas tree are all gone in New York, it's still the city that never sleeps, with endless things to do and see. Looking for something to do on your birthday or just a day/night out?

Here are just a few ideas of things to do in New York City:

Times Square, in the heart of Manhattan, is filled with dozens of restaurants, shops, museums and shows and is a sight to see in its own right. Crowds of people from all over the world, tall buildings and bright lights all around-- it’s really a beautifully exciting place and a reason why so many people fall in love with New York. Be entertained simply by walking around and seeing all it has to offer!

Of course if you get a ride into New York City, you are going to want to do something else besides roam through Times Square. With 40 Broadway theaters to choose from, there's bound to one that will draw you in. There's a mix of shows that have been around for many years as well as new shows. Surrounding the theaters are always plenty of restaurants to create the perfect night out: dinner and a show.

In addition to Broadway, there is a huge collection of museums to visit, some of which are free. As a matter of fact, there are enough museums to satisfy the interests of everyone in your family or group.

Little Italy, located on Mulberry Street, is also a very popular attraction. There are a bunch of Italian restaurants and shops to visit here. In September there is the San Gennaro Festival which includes games, vendors and of course more food.

There are endless options in New York City. These are just a few of the hundreds of things to choose from. I suggest taking a ride in and checking out the endless shopping, restaurants and attractions.
